Day-1: Yangon-arrival

(Based on morning international arrival flight)

Arrival at Yangon International Airport you will be welcomed by your guide and start your sightseeing; Kyauk Taw Gyi Pagoda; White Elephants; Sule Pagoda; the colonial downtown area where you can see the over 100-year-old Strand Hotel, the beautiful post office, and the British Embassy. It is also the place where you can experience the local life of Myanmar people.

Then, we will drive to Chaukhtatgyi Pagoda, known for the reclining Buddha that measures 70 meters in Length. End of the day you can visit the world-famous Shwedagon Pagoda for breath breathtaking sunset. Stay overnight in Yangon. Lunch and Dinner will be served at a local restaurant.

Day-2: Yangon - Bagan

Very early in the morning, transfer to the airport. Depart Yangon for Bagan, the ancient city with over 4400 temples. Upon arrival, we will drive to the colorful and bustling NyaungOo local market that gives you a glimpse of the local life as well as the numerous tourist-oriented wares on offer, ranging from t-shirts and woodcarvings to lacquer ware and paintings. The tour extended to the Shwezigon Pagoda, one of the four most significant buildings in Bagan.

Continue to visit the Htilominlo pagoda, famed for its original fine plaster carvings and glazed sandstone decorations which are remarkably well preserved before the visit to the Ananda Pagoda, one of the finest, largest, and best persevered in Old Bagan.

During your visit to Bagan, you will also have a chance to see a lacquerware workshop whose birthplace is in Bagan. Finally, visit the Dhammayangyi Pagoda, Bagan’s largest temple.

Enjoy the sunset from one of the most scenic spots in town and return to the hotel. Stay overnight in Bagan.

Day-3: Bagan– Mt. Popa - Bagan excursion

Rising 1,518 meters from the plains of the surroundings of Bagan, Mount Popa is considered the sacred home of the spirits and is about a 1.5-hour drive from Bagan. Visit a palm village along the way you can learn how palm sugar is produced. Continue to Mount Popa and visit TaungKalat, the temple that sits atop like a plug in the volcano and holds significance in Myanmar’s history and religion. The monastery is home to the 37 nats (spirits) of Myanmar, which are displayed at the base of the temple. Mt. Popa is also known as the Oasis of Central Myanmar. Enjoy lunch at Popa Mountain Resort and then a leisurely drive back to Bagan. Stay overnight in Bagan.

Day-4: Bagan-Inle

After breakfast, your guide we meet you in your hotel. Transfer to the Nyaung Oo airport for your onward flight to Heho. Upon arrival, enjoy a scenic one-hour drive to Myanmar’s second-largest lake, Inle, which measures 70km². Located at an altitude of 880 meters, the lake is also one of the highest in the country, with a cool climate and exceptional flora and fauna. Inle is famous for its unique leg-rowers. This unusual style of rowing requires remarkable balance and definitely takes some practice.

Enjoy a boat trip on the lake and observe the beautiful surroundings en route to the floating market and floating gardens. Another attraction besides the enjoyment of the scenery is a visit to Nga-Phae'-Kyaung, formerly known as the ‘jumping cats’ monastery; Phaungdaw U Pagoda and silk weaving Inn Paw Khone Village. Stay overnight in Inle. Lunch and Dinner will be served at local restaurants.

Day-5: Heho-Yangon

Rise early to visit the rural but bustling five-day market (only if it will be taken place near your resort) and observe locals and several minority groups wearing traditional costumes trading farm produce such as vegetables, fruits, dried tea leaves as well as animals. Return to Nyaung Shwe. Fly back to Yangon with an afternoon flight. Upon arrival, drive to your hotel and check-in. Then drive to the colonial Bogyoke Aung San Market (Scott Market) for your souvenir shopping. Stay overnight in Yangon.

Day-6: Yangon-Departure

(Based on morning international departure flight)

Breakfast at your hotel, our guide will meet you at your hotel and transfer to Yangon International Airport to take your International departure flight.
