Day -1 Yangon-Arrival

(Based on morning arrival flight)

Arrival at Yangon International Airport you will be welcomed by your guide and start your sightseeing; Kyauk Taw Gyi Pagoda; White Elephants; Sule Pagoda; the colonial downtown area where you can see the over 100-year-old Strand Hotel, the beautiful post office, and the British Embassy. It is also the place where you can experience the local life of Myanmar people. Then, we will drive to Chaukhtatgyi Pagoda, and experience the local life of Myanmar people. And then drive to the colonial Bogyoke Aung San Market (Scott Market). End of the day you can visit the world-famous Shwedagon Pagoda for breath taking sunset. Stay overnight in Yangon.

Day -2 Yangon - Bagan

Very early in the morning, transfer to the airport. Depart Yangon for Bagan, the ancient city with over 44,000 temples. Upon arrival, we will drive to the colorful and bustling NyaungOo local market that gives you a glimpse of local life. The tour extended to the Shwezigon pagoda, one of the four most significant buildings in Bagan. Continue to visit the Htilominlo pagoda, famed for its original fine plaster carvings and glazed sandstone decorations which are remarkably well preserved before the visit to the Ananda Pagoda, one of the finest, largest, and best persevered in Old Bagan.

Then, drive back to your hotel for check-in or enjoy lunch at Sunset Garden Restaurant by the Ayeyarwaddy River. During your visit to Bagan, you will also have a chance to see a lacquerware workshop whose birthplace is in Bagan. Finally, visit the Dhammayangyi Pagoda, Bagan’s largest temple. Enjoy the sunset from one of the most scenic spots in town and return to the. Stay overnight in Bagan.

Day- 3: Bagan– Mt. Popa - Bagan excursion

Rising 1,518 meters from the plains of the surroundings of Bagan, Mount Popa is considered the sacred home of the spirits and is about a 1.5-hour drive from Bagan. Visit a palm village along the way; you learn how to do palm sugar is produced. Continue to Mount Popa and visit TaungKalat, the temple which sits atop like a plug in the volcano and holds significance in Myanmar’s history and religion. The monastery is home to the 37 nats (spirits) of Myanmar, which are displayed at the base of the temple. Mt. Popa is also known as the Oasis of Central Myanmar and then leisurely drive back to Bagan. Stay overnight in Bagan.

Day- 4 Bagan - Mandalay

After breakfast, transfer to the Nyaung Oo Airport. Depart Bagan for Mandalay. Mandalay was briefly the Burmese capital in the second half of the 19th century. It is home to about one million people and remains the economic, cultural, and religious heart of Upper Myanmar. Upon arrival, drive straightly to Amarapura, the 18th-century capital where the country’s largest monastery is located, it is MahaGhandayon monastery. The ancient city of Amarapura is famous for its silk-weaving industry. Sightseeing also includes the magnificent teak bridge of U Bein, which is over 200 years old and 1.2 km long. It is the longest teak bridge in the world.

Afternoon sightseeing in Mandalay includes the Golden Palace Monastery, located close to Mandalay Hill, being famous for its teak carvings of Buddhist myths. Also at the foot of Mandalay Hill lies Kuthodaw pagoda, which was built in 1857 and is home to the world’s largest book. Visit the Maha Muni pagoda later in the day, which is regarded to as the holiest site in Mandalay and is not to be missed. You can also explore a stone curving workshop nearby. If time permits, drive to Mandalay Hill where you can enjoy the scenic beauty of Mandalay over the mighty Ayeyarwaddy River. Stay overnight in Mandalay.

Day- 5 Mandalay-Yangon

(Based on evening international departure flight)

After breakfast, transfer to Mandalay International airport for a domestic flight to Yangon. The rest of the day is at your leisure for relaxing, shopping, or sightseeing until transfer to the airport for your International departure flight.
