Day 1: Yangon Arrival
(Based on the morning international arrival flight)
Arrival at Yangon International Airport, you will be welcomed by your guide and start your sightseeing: Kyauk Taw Gyi Pagoda, White Elephants, Sule Pagoda, and the colonial downtown area, where you can see the over 100-year-old Strand Hotel, the beautiful post office, and the British Embassy. It is also the place where you can experience the local life of the Myanmar people.
Then, we will drive to Chaukhtatgyi Pagoda, known for the reclining Buddha that measures 70 metres in Length. At the end of the day, you can visit the world-famous Shwedagon Pagoda for breath taking sunset. Stay overnight in Yangon. Lunch and Dinner will be served at a local restaurant.
Day 2: Yangon – Heho – Pindaya
After breakfast, transfer to the Yangon Airport. Depart from Yangon for Heho, arrive at Heho airport, and drive to Pindaya. Pindaya has been noted for its natural limestone Caves housing over 8,000 Buddha Images of various sizes. It is one of the most beautiful and peaceful places in the Shan State. You can learn the umbrella-making process, and it is also possible to learn about their local life. Stay overnight in Pindaya.
Day 3: Pindaya – Kalaw
After breakfast, drive to Kalaw, which is situated 70 km west of Taunggyi, the capital of Shan state, and about 50km from Pindaya caves. Kalaw sits high on the western edge of the Shan Plateau and was a popular hill station in British times. It is still a peaceful and quiet place with an atmosphere reminiscent of the colonial era. Sightseeing in Kalaw includes Nee Paya, a gold lacquered bamboo Buddha.
You can enjoy the daily life of local tribes, and you can also taste the traditional foods of local people. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 4: Kalaw – Inle
After breakfast, the tour continues to the unique and magical Inle Lake, located about 880 meters above sea level and 22km long by 11km wide. Arrive at the Nyaung Shwe Jetty, transfer by boat to your hotel, and start sightseeing around Inle Lake. The highlights of Inle Lake include the fisherman rowing in the one-legged style that is characteristic of Inle Lake boatmen, and gardens of grass and earth floating on the surface of this shallow lake, with floating strips of “land” for growing vegetables.
Other tourist attractions sights are visiting Ngaphae Kyaung's “jumping cats” monastery, the silk weaving industry in Inpawkhone, and the greatest Phaungdaw U Pagoda, totally covered with gold. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 5: Inle – Yangon
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the NyaungShwe jetty by boat and then drive to Heho Airport to take your flight back from Heho to Yangon.
Arrive at the Yangon Airport, and our local guide will take you to check in at your hotel. In the afternoon, drive to our historical Bogyoke Market ( Scott Market ); been built in 1926 and is noted for its variety of handicrafts and other items, which provides an excellent opportunity for a last-minute shopping spree before a visit to Chinatown. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 6: Yangon Departure
( Based on the morning international departure flight )
Breakfast at your hotel, then transfer to Yangon International Airport to take your International Departure Flight back to your home.
