Day 1: Yangon Arrival

(Based on morning arrival flight)

Welcome upon arrival at Yangon International Airport by our guide transfer to the hotel for check-in. In the afternoon, you will visit Sule Pagoda; built over 2000 years ago, Yangon’s Colonial-style city center, and Chaukhtatgyi Pagoda, (70) meters long reclining Buddha. We proceed to Shwedagon Pagoda stands as a Landmark and one of the world’s wonders since a thousand years ago. Stay overnight in Yangon.

Day 2: Yangon – Taungoo – Phoe Kyar Elephant Camp

Our tour guide will meet you at your hotel in the early morning and drive to Taungoo for approximately 6 hours, another Capital City of the Second Myanmar Dynasty. Visit Royal Lake in Taungoo and also visit Shwesandaw pagoda which is believed to have Buddha’s hair enshrined.

On depending on arrival take a rest for a few hours and in the evening will do a short trek into the forest. Stay overnight in Camp.

Day 3: Phoe Kyar Elephant Camp

After the traditional local breakfast, help observe how elephants take showers in the stream and creek. After that, ride an elephant in the forest for about an hour. Lunch at Camp then take relax easily. In the evening we will trek to the other elephant camp again which is near Camp where we will touch oozing clay elephant trainers and trainees and their way of life and Elephant Show. It starts with the lovely elephants walking on the Square Teak Beam in a file.

It is believed that among all the animals in the world, the elephant walks most modestly and subtly in the mood of Royal Elegance. Therefore, no doubt that the Royal Kings of Burma used the Great Elephants as their Major Royal Transportation as well as one of the Weapons of Warfare. In the afternoon, drive back to Yangon.

On the way to Yangon sightseeing around Bago, the ancient capital city, visit the Shwetharhlaung Pagoda, with its giant reclining Buddha, having a history of over 1000 years; the nearby Monastic Education Center; the tour continues to the Shwemawdaw Pagoda, with 114metres the highest pagoda in Myanmar and walk from there to the HinthaGon Pagoda, the place where Bago was founded. Late afternoon drive back to Yangon and visit KanbawzaThardy, the old palace of King BayintNaung, The four giant sitting Buddha Image. Stay overnight in Yangon.

Day-4 Yangon Departure

(Based on a late afternoon departure flight)

Having your breakfast at your hotel then a shopping tour to the sprawling old market, built in 1926, is named after the founding father of Myanmar, BogyokeAung San(Scott Market), is a veritable shoppers’ delight (closed every Monday and gazette holidays). You will be transferred back to the airport for your international flight back. Say goodbye to your guide and end the trip to this historical country.
