Day 1: Yangon-Golden Rock
(Based on the morning international arrival flight)
Arrival at Yangon International Airport, you will be welcomed by your tour guide and driven to one of Myanmar's Landmarks, Kyaikhtiyo, the Golden Rock. Only a 5-hour drive to the North East of Yangon.
The magnificent ‘Golden Rock’ is an important place of pilgrimage for all Buddhists. Kyaikhtiyo is only 160 km away from Yangon. To reach the Pagoda from the KIN PUN base camp, a steep 11km road leads to the upper staging point. On arrival, you can enjoy great views over the surrounding jungle and a beautiful sunset. Stay overnight in Golden Rock.
Day 2: Golden Rock-Bago-Yangon
After breakfast, you will return to Bago and sightseeing with the reclining Shwe Maw Daw Pagoda, Shwe Thalyaung Pagoda, Kanbawza Thardy Palace, and the four giant sitting Buddha images. And then continue to Yangon. Stay overnight in Yangon.
Day 3: Yangon Departure
(Based on evening international departure flight)
After breakfast, visit the magnificent Shwedagon Pagoda, one of Myanmar’s most sacred places. And then heading for shopping at our historical Bogyoke (Scott) Market (usually closed on Monday and gazetted holidays). And then transfer to Yangon Int’l Airport for the departure flight.
