Day 1: Yangon Arrival
(Based on morning international arrival flight)
Arrival at Yangon International Airport you will be welcomed by your guide and start your sightseeing; Kyauk Taw Gyi Pagoda; White Elephants; Sule Pagoda; the colonial downtown area where you can see the over 100-year-old Strand Hotel, the beautiful post office, and the British Embassy. It is also the place where you can experience the local life of Myanmar people.
Then, we will drive to Botahatung Pagoda, Chaukhtatgyi Pagoda, and experience the local life of Myanmar people. And then drive to the colonial Bogyoke Aung San Market (Scott Market). End of the day you can visit the world-famous Shwedagon Pagoda for breath taking sunset. Stay overnight in Yangon.
Day 2: Yangon – Mandalay – Amarapura – Ava(Inwa) - Mandalay
After breakfast, our local guide will transfer to Yangon Domestic Airport, and depart from Yangon to Mandalay. Upon arrival, our local guide will welcome you again and drive to Amarapura and visit the 1.2 km long U Bein's teak wood bridge. Then, we will visit Mahagandaryone Monastery which is the school for young monks and to experience while the monks having their last meal of the day.
Then, the tour is continuing to another royal capital Ava (Inwa). Sightseeing is arranged by horse cart. Highlights include the leaning tower of Ava', MahaAungmyeBonzan, a brick and stucco monastery, and the elegant teakwood monastery BagayaKyaung. Drive back to Mandalay in the evening and overnight.
Day 3: Mandalay – Mingun – Mandalay
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Jetty for a private boat across the river Ayeywaddy to visit Mingun. We are heading to Mingun Pagoda and the Mingun Bell, the second-largest bell in the world is the most prominent religious heritage. Then continue visiting Myatheintan Pagoda, the best representation of the Universe. Return to Mandalay.
After having your lunch, you will be taken for a sightseeing tour of Mandalay. Including Mahamuni Pagoda, a life-like Buddha image; gold leaf making work-place; Kuthodaw Pagoda (the world’s largest book for its 729 marble slabs); Mandalay Palace where the last Myanmar King standing and golden Palace Monastery ( noted for its exquisite wood carving). Enjoy the panoramic view of the city from Mandalay Hill. Stay overnight in Mandalay.
Day 4: Mandalay – Yangon
(Based on evening international departure flight)
After breakfast at your hotel, you will be transferred to Mandalay Airport for your flight to Yangon. Upon arrival, our local tour guide will meet you and take you to enjoy your lunch. After lunch, transfer back to Yangon International Airport to take your International onward flight.
