Day 1: Yangon Arrival
(Based on the morning international arrival flight)
Arrival at Yangon International Airport, you will be welcomed by your guide and start your sightseeing: Kyauk Taw Gyi Pagoda, White Elephants, Sule Pagoda, the colonial downtown area, where you can see the over 100-year-old Strand Hotel, the beautiful post office, and the British Embassy.
It is also the place where you can experience the local life of the Myanmar people. Then, we will drive to Chaukhtatgyi Pagoda and experience the local life of the Myanmar people.
And then drive to the colonial Bogyoke Aung San Market (Scott Market). At the end of the day, you can visit the world-famous Shwedagon Pagoda for a breathtaking sunset. Stay overnight in Yangon.
Day 2: Yangon – Bago – Golden Rock
After breakfast, drive to Bago (80km 1-hours). Sightseeing with the reclining Shwe Maw Daw Pagoda and the Shwethalyaung Pagoda... And then continue to Golden Rock. The magnificent “Golden Rock” is an important place of pilgrimage for all Buddhists. Kyaikhtiyo, one of Myanmar’s Landmarks is only 87km away from Bago. To reach the Pagoda from the KIN PUN base camp, a steep 11km road leads to the upper staying point. On arrival, you can enjoy a great view of the surrounding jungle and a beautiful sunset. Stay overnight in Golden Rock.
Day 3: Golden Rock-Mawlamyine
After an early breakfast, visit Mawlamyine (170 hours). Upon arrival, check in at your hotel. Then visit Bilu Island. You will discover the serene scenery of paddy fields and quaint villages. Then visit small wood workshops, typical for Myanmar, where walking sticks and pens are produced. Late afternoon, return to Mawlamyine to enjoy the sunset from Kyaikthanlan Pagoda and stay overnight in Mawlamyine.
Day 4: Mawlamyine-Yangon
After breakfast, sightseeing at the Thanlwin River view in Mawlamyine. And return to Yangon. Stop en route by an Allied War Graves Cemetery near Htaukkyan. Transfer to your hotel in Yangon. Stay overnight in Yangon.
Day 5: Yangon Departure
(Based on the morning international departure flight)
After breakfast at your hotel, our tour guide will take you to the airport to Yangon International Airport for your International Departure flight.
