Day 1: Yangon Arrival

(Based on morning international arrival flight)

Arrival at Yangon International Airport you will be welcomed by your guide and start your sightseeing; Kyauk Taw Gyi Pagoda; White Elephants; Sule Pagoda; the colonial downtown area where you can see the over 100-year-old Strand Hotel, the beautiful post office, and the British Embassy. It is also the place where you can experience the local life of Myanmar people. Then, we will drive to Botahtaung Pagoda, Chaukhtatgyi Pagoda, known for the reclining Buddha that measures 70 meters in Length. End of the day you can visit to the world-famous Shwedagon Pagoda for breath taking sunset. Stay overnight in Yangon. Lunch and Dinner will be served at local restaurant.

Day 2: Yangon-Mandalay

After breakfast, transfer to the airport. Depart Yangon for Mandalay. Mandalay was briefly the Burmese capital in the second half on the 19th century. It is home to about one million people and remains the economic, cultural and religious heart of upper Myanmar. Upon arrival, drive straightly to Amarapura, the 18th-century capital where the country’s largest monastery is located, it is MahaGhandayon monastery.

The ancient city of Amarapura is famous for its silk weaving industry. Sightseeing also includes the magnificent teak bridge of U Bein, which is over 200 years old and 1.2 km long . It is the longest teak bridge in the world. Afternoon sightseeing in Mandalay includes the Golden Palace Monastery, located close to Mandalay Hill, being famous for its teak carvings of Buddhist myths. Also at the foot of Mandalay Hill lies Kuthodaw pagoda, which was built in 1857 and is home to the world’s largest book. Visit the Maha Muni pagoda later in the day, which is regarded as the holiest site in Mandalay and is not to be missed. You can also explore a stone curving workshop nearby . If time permits, drive to Mandalay Hill where you can enjoy the scenic beauty of Mandalay over the mighty Ayeyarwaddy River. Stay overnight in Mandalay.

Day 3: Mandalay - Heho (Inle)

Transfer to Mandalay Airport for your onwards flight to Heho. Upon arrival, enjoy a scenic one-hour drive to Myanmar’s second-largest lake, Inle, which measure 70km². Located at an altitude of 880 meters, the lake is also one of the highest in the country, with a cool climate and exceptional flora and fauna. Inle is famous for its unique leg-rowers. This unusual style of rowing requires remarkable balance and definitely takes some practice.

Enjoy a boat trip on the lake and observe the beautiful surroundings en route to the floating market and floating gardens. Another attraction besides the enjoyment of the scenery is a visit to the Nga Phae Kyaung, formerly known as the ‘jumping cats’ monastery, Phaungdaw U Pagoda, and silk weaving Inn Paw Khone village. Stay overnight in Inle.

Day 4: Heho - Yangon

After breakfast at your hotel, transfer back NyaungShwe. If times permit, visit around Nyaung Shwe for a while. Then, fly back to Yangon. Upon arrival, drive to your hotel and check in. And then, drive to the colonial BogyokeAung San Market (Scott Market), the open-air mart that has everything you’d ever need, from local snacks and musical instruments to textiles, souvenirs, and stunning jewelry, normally closed on Monday and the gazette holidays. Stay Overnight in Yangon.

Day 5: Yangon-Departure

(Based on morning international departure flight)

Breakfast at your hotel and then transfer to Yangon International Airport to take your International Departure Flight.
